Show Notes for my Creepy Horror Doll Overview Video
As you may know, I’m moving to a new studio. Actually it’s our guest bedroom that we never use. It has become just a storage room. Moving all this stuff to the attic and other places is taking a ton of time, and I want to make sure the new studio is perfectly laid out for tutorial filming, with some office space for my writing and storage for all the tools, materials and supplies for all the tutorials.
So…today’s video was just a recap or primer on my horror dolls. I got the idea while unpacking a box full of dolls that I was moving to the new studio space.
In the video I cover how I get most of my dolls, which is my wonderful wife’s shopping. She goes to all kinds of thrift shops and goodwill and if she sees a cheap doll, or any other Halloween or horror related item, she usually buys it for me.
So, that’s how I get my raw materials. I also peruse Pinterest for horror dolls for inspiration.
In the next part of the video we unpack the box and looks at some of the unaltered dolls, the ones that are in progress and 3 that I have finished.
So, my question for the viewers of todays video is: Which of these 3 horror dolls would you like for me to make a tutorial on? Or, if you don’t like any of these, what kind of doll would you like for me to try?
Finally, to close the video, I offer my number one tip to creep dolls out. Even if you don’t do anything else to the doll, this technique has great impact turning a normal doll into a horror doll. Jeepers Creepers…look at those peepers!
